Gamified events

We turn an event into a memorable experience

We create game dynamics for events, parties and conferences, with concrete goals like team building, networking or just pure entertainment. It’s ideal for event companies, wedding planners or businesses organizing an event or a conference.

Types of events that can be gamified

1. Internal corporate events

Conventions, company days, results presentations or company dinners. Here the attendees are the employees themselves, and gamification turns the event into a shared experience that brings the team together, improves communication between departments and strengthens company culture. If you want to keep that team spirit going day to day, not just at a one-off event, see Gamified business.

2. Trade shows, conferences and professional events

Events with lots of attendees who don’t know each other and little time to catch their attention. A gamified booth or activity draws more visitors, makes them stay longer and makes networking and lead capture easier.

3. Social events and celebrations

Weddings, parties and anniversaries. Game dynamics break the ice between guests who don’t know each other, get everyone involved and create moments people remember for years.

4. Ticketed parties and events

Events people pay to attend, such as a zombie survival experience, a nightclub or a themed party. Here the experience is the product itself: gamification makes it unique, keeps attendees engaged from start to finish and makes them want to come back and recommend it.

Gamified event KPIs

Measuring an event is harder than measuring training or a product, because every event has very different goals. For example, if the only goal is entertainment, the only KPI that matters is attendee satisfaction. That’s why we work with two main KPIs:

  • Attendee satisfaction: how attendees rate the event, measured with a survey at the end.
  • Participation rate: what percentage of attendees take part in the activities.

Goals of a gamified event

Every event has a purpose, and the game dynamics are designed to achieve it:

  • Team building: bringing the team together and improving trust and communication between colleagues through group challenges. For ongoing team building inside the company, see Gamified business.
  • Networking: breaking the ice and connecting attendees who don’t know each other with activities that get them interacting.
  • Lead capture: drawing visitors to a booth and getting their contact details in exchange for an engaging experience.
  • Brand awareness: making attendees remember the brand and share the event on social media.
  • Entertainment: getting everyone involved, having a great time and leaving with a good memory.
  • Added value: creating activities that encourage people to buy a ticket to take part.
